In 1974, Gemma Bernal and Ramón Isern designed Arquímedes, or, as they themselves described it, “a dynamic reading lamp.”

We reissue it in full respect of its original spirit, with minimal adjustments to keep its character alive.

The counterweight, an essential feature of the original design, resolves balance naturally, and constructive honesty is recognized in the visible cables, integrated into the mechanism.

With an oak body and a metal shade, Arquímedes preserves its formal simplicity and a timeless profile, fully contemporary.
